I’ve been giving advice on research integrity issues since 2006, supporting researchers, research-enabling staff and organisations to embed and enhance quality, ethics, impact and trust in their research.
I’ve supported every discipline of research, from lone researchers to complex collaborations involving multiple disciplines, organisations and countries. I’ve worked with universities, National Health Service bodies, industry, charities and not-for-profits, and Government departments and public sector organisations.
From ensuring good practice to addressing mistakes and misconduct, from research strategy to research practice, I give expert advice and practical solutions, drawing on my extensive experience of successfully resolving issues at scores of research organisations over the last 19 years. I’m collaborative and supportive, giving you the confidential and experienced input that you need.
I’ve also given expert support to research funders, publishers, learned societies and academies, regulators, policymakers and other stakeholders. I’ve helped shape initiatives and policies so they have real impact and avoid accidentally causing negative incentives and unforeseen consequences.
